Posted in Uncategorized On-line shopping: pros and cons
In these times we cannot imagine our life without the Internet, it became so common and usual to apply to it when the information is needed or quick connection with somebody. Even postal mail is three times not as popular nowadays as the e-mail. The information revolution invaded each and every sphere of our human life, that is why making purchases via the world wide web is becoming more and more commonplace with each passing day. With just a few clicks of a mouse and a piece of plastic with lots of available credit, most anything can be purchased for the comfort of home. But like every phenomena in the world, shopping off the Internet has its pros and cons.
Why it is worth shopping on-line.
For the most internet shops the return of the items is not problem and they refund shipping costs which is also very important to a customer. Furthermore, they have very reasonable prices. And if you have got some questions you can easily dial their number and the phone representatives are wonderful - they do their best to make you happy and resolve any problems, they are courteous and helpful. Sometimes you have no clue where to find a certain product, you search around and finally find it in the Net, where anything can be found. Besides, you can take a look at a huge selection, the shopping is convenient, with pictures and specifications. It is so easy to look up an item and compare varieties and prices, decide which one and order.
Why it is not worth shopping on-line.
Sometimes the service is really slow and the shipping is expensive and not timely. And there are no real price savings here, you still pay sales tax. Moreover, the search engine is usually less than intuitive and it can take awhile before you will find what you need. The webpages also need the improvement, for the 24 hour review is not always as complete as the customers would like it. When you press the icons, you do not always get to see all the items that have been shown in the last 24 hours or they are not updated. Also the stock supply is far less than the demand of the audience wishing to purchase and you are getting frustrated seeing the ‘sold out’ icon.
